Pooja Kumari, M.D., MSCR

Dr. Kumari is a board certified Rheumatologist. She earned her medical degree with honors from Sindh Medical College, Karachi. She did her internal medicine residency at Marshfield Clinic Medical Center. She earned a Master of Science in Clinical Research (MSCR) degree with honors from the Medical University of South Carolina and has been published in medical journals. She has presented her work at various regional and national conferences. She successfully finished her Rheumatology fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science center.
She has been acknowledged for providing care with compassion by her patients and colleagues on various occasions.
Dr. Kumari is a daughter of a retired primary teacher, who instilled a love for continued learning in her. She believes that learning is an ongoing process; she keeps herself updated on recent advances in the fast-growing field of Rheumatology. Dr. Kumari loves spending time with her husband and daughter. She enjoys nature and outdoor activities. She understands the value of health and functionality and aims to help you to enjoy and live your life to the fullest.
